West African Traditional Medicine Cooperation and Exchange Center

The West African Traditional Medicine Cooperation and Exchange Center is a high-impact initiative designed to advance the preservation, validation, and integration of African Traditional Medicine and Indigenous Healing Systems within regional and global health frameworks. As a strategic arm of HCOWAA, the Committee offers a collaborative platform for traditional healers, researchers, academics, policymakers, and health professionals to share knowledge, conduct research, and influence policies aimed at strengthening indigenous healthcare systems in West Africa.

To promote the scientific recognition, ethical practice, and institutional collaboration necessary for the sustainable development and integration of traditional medicine into national health systems across West Africa, while safeguarding cultural heritage and community health wisdom.
