Dr. Eric Kofi Ngyedu is a Consultant Maxillofacial surgeon and the Chief Executive of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and a former member of its council, a Chartered professional administrator and member of the chartered institute of administrators and management consultants Ghana, and a member of the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC).

He has over 20 years of clinical and management experience as a former medical director of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. He is a dedicated antibiotic steward and has led the implementation of several interventions through research to safeguard the use of antibiotics within the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and at a national level.
