The Ghana Association of Chinese Societies (GACS)

The Ghana Association of Chinese Societies (GACS), led by Mr. Tang Hong the president of the Association, represents the interests of Chinese communities in Ghana. The association focuses on strengthening ties between Chinese expatriates and local Ghanaian populations, promoting cultural exchange, economic cooperation, and mutual development.

GACS actively supports the community through various charitable initiatives, including donations to orphanages, schools, and other vulnerable groups. In collaboration with the Students and Youth Travel Organization (SYTO), the association has provided essential items to  educational institutions and orphanages, significantly impacting the lives of many.

In addition to its charitable efforts, GACS promotes trade and investment between China and Ghana, contributing to the local economy through infrastructure development and corporate social responsibility projects. Recent initiatives have included donations of computers to schools and organizing events aimed at fostering cultural exchange and community development.

Through these efforts, the Ghana Association of Chinese Societies has successfully strengthened bilateral relations while enhancing the well-being of both Chinese expatriates and local communities.
