The Natural Health Professionals Federation Of Ghana 🇬🇭 with the acronym- NaHpFeG was formed by 11 various independent associations of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Healthcare Practitioners in Ghana, after they had paid a courtesy call on the Health Minister- Hon. Kwabena Akandoh to welcome him to the office and share their challenges with.
After the engagement with the Health Minister on 4th Of March, 2025 decided to put themselves under one umbrella named Natural Health Professionals Federation Of Ghana to lobby and advocate for the interest and growth of Traditional Medicine Practice In Ghana.
With the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Traditional Medicine encompasses a wide array of practices, including herbal remedies, acupuncture, homoeopathy, and other systems like Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine. These systems often rely on holistic approaches, using natural substances and techniques to treat illness and maintain health.

The Federation was finally and legally registered in accordance with Article 21 section d and e of the 1992 constitution of Ghana giving its recognition by the Government Of Ghana and officially recognised by the Ministry Of Health as documented in the documentation of the Traditional Medicine Practice Council as passed by the immediate outgone Registrar- Dr. Michael Kyeremateng.
